Support groups may not be for everyone, however you may find value in speaking with others going through the same journey as you. Peer support groups can be particularly helpful for those diagnosed with a rare cancer like mesothelioma. Other services may not always provide relevant support.
Our support groups are available in a range of formats, including face to face meetings, online chat forums, and private Facebook groups. We provide a group for patients and their carers and a separate group for bereaved carers. Most sessions are informal and offer a chance to connect with others over coffee, cake and conversation. All groups are facilitated to help maintain a safe and respectful space for all participants.
