Support Nurse Coordinator

As MADDA’s Support Nurse Coordinator, Maxine provides dedicated support to individuals and families impacted by mesothelioma.

Maxine brings with her experience as a senior registered nurse with 30+ years in palliative care, oncology, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy services across Australia and the UK.

She is known for delivering compassionate, person-centred care and recognised for advanced clinical assessment, symptom and pain management, and skilled facilitation of complex and end-of-life conversations with patients and families.

Maxine works with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient care across diverse settings, bringing clinical leadership, bereavement support expertise, and an unwavering commitment to dignity, quality of life, and treating every person with fairness and respect.

She will be leading our Support Service offering phone and in-person support every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
